The long-waiting annual drama performance 13 The Musical was staged on 28 May 2014 in the school hall. With the theme of growing up, a team of Ka Chi students portrayed a group of seventeen teenagers at their thirteen with vibrant characters.

The story is about the protagonist, Eve, a Jewish girl, has to move from New York to a small town, Appleton because of her parents’ divorce. The first friend she makes here is called Patrice. Patrice is a nice girl but everyone here hates her. Later on, Eve meets the coolest kid, Brett. Brett is a handsome boy who wants to date with the most beautiful girl in school, Kendra, but Brett does not have an idea. Eve suggests him to bring Kendra to a movie. Brett is impressed so he decides to call Eve “the Brain”. Eve thinks that she can invite all the new friends to her party but here's the problem: if she invites Patrice, everyone else will not go. Patrice is sad because Eve does not choose her. Eve is so regretful. A boy called Archie says he can help but Eve must help him to date with Kendra. Finally everyone goes for a movie and things messes up. Eve eventually knows who her real friends are.

The performance closed with the encouraging words from the teachers. Every Ka Chi student is a witness to this inspirational journey on stage!
