On 31 May 2017, 5L Inderpreet-Kaur, along with nine students of other local secondary schools, attended the Grand Final and Award Presentation Ceremony of a public speaking contest organized by Hong Kong Baptist University.  The contest was so keen that only 10 participants out of more than 200 were shortlisted to enter the final.  Each finalist delivered a 3-minute prepared speech on the theme “IF”, followed by a 2-minute impromptu session.  They engaged the audience successfully through their insightful speeches and body languages.  Whether winning or losing, their confidence and courage to be on the stage have already deserved our admiration.
