On 19 May, a big group of form 5 students hopped onto a unique 1920s style open-top tram to explore Hong Kong Island between day and night in an action-oriented English tour. The native English teacher in the tour allowed our student participants to savour the impressive street views and at the same time, to know the authentic local tales in English. Students were also asked to join a competition in which they needed to complete a few different tasks to check out the parts of the tram, the tram stations, landmarks as well as the history along the tram route. The journey in this heritage tram is well-organized between historical storytelling and amazing sightseeing of Hong Kong Island. Students found it rewarding to learn the English vocabulary and take the amazing photos.
