With the aim of establishing the theme “No fear in English”, a group of 9 students, in the company with an English teacher and local professionals, participated in a 7-day trip to Brisbane in July. We planned diversified activities in our trip so as to further enrich students’ English vocabulary bank and broaden their horizons, and more importantly, let them overcome their fear and start speaking in English around Brisbane. There is great educational value in taking students out of the traditional classrooms to explore the English world at first hand, and such experience helps bring education to life. The experience in Brisbane stimulated and reinforced a positive attitude towards learning English among our student participants.
